The small and medium-sized bridge safety monitoring platform is an intelligent monitoring system that focuses on the structural health and traffic safety of small and medium-sized bridges. It integrates IoT, strain sensing technology, and vibration monitoring to solve the problems of "difficult supervision and untimely detection of hidden dangers" in small and medium-sized bridges. The system deploys strain sensors, deflectometers, vibration sensors, temperature and humidity sensors, and video monitoring equipment in key parts of the bridge (beams, supports, piers and columns) to collect real-time data on bridge structural strain, deflection, vibration frequency, load, and surrounding environmental temperature and humidity. It uses communication technologies such as 4G and Beidou to achieve real-time data transmission; It can accurately identify hidden dangers such as bridge crack propagation and structural deformation, and automatically send graded warning information to maintenance departments and management personnel when the data exceeds the safety threshold.
The platform supports real-time visualization display of bridge status, prediction of disease trends, archiving of maintenance records, and data sharing with the traffic management platform. It can not only protect the safety of bridge traffic in real time, avoid malignant accidents such as collapse, but also provide scientific basis for the development of bridge maintenance plans, extend the service life of bridges, and ensure the smooth operation of regional transportation networks.
