Radar water level gauge
The Model M30B-C3 Radar Water Level Gauge is based on electromagnetic wave ranging technology with precise time measurement. The sensor transmits electromagnetic waves to irradiate the water surface and receives the reflected waves, thereby obtaining information such as the distance from the water surface to the electromagnetic wave emission point, distance change rate (radial velocity), orientation, and height.
As an innovative application of industrial ranging radar in the field of water level measurement, the radar water level gauge achieves a technological leap toward high precision (millimeter-level), wide measuring range, high reliability, easy installation, and maintenance-free operation. Through standard signal interfaces, the radar water level gauge can be connected to computers, PLCs, etc., and also to corresponding display, recording, and control devices (such as RTUs) to form a water level monitoring system.
The radar water level gauge mainly consists of a transmitter, transmitting antenna, receiver, receiving antenna, signal processing unit, and transmission unit. It also includes auxiliary equipment such as power supply devices, data acquisition devices, and anti-interference devices.
The radar water level gauge is suitable for water level monitoring of rivers, reservoirs, open channels, the front of reservoir dams, and the tailwater downstream of dams. It is also applicable to water conservancy and hydrological scenarios such as flash flood monitoring, flood control, and water level monitoring of surge towers (wells).
