Water and Rainfall Video Surveillance System
It is widely recognized that reservoirs play a vital regulatory role in flood control and water resource utilization. Ensuring reservoir safety and the rational, efficient use of water resources are key issues that water conservancy engineers must address. The implementation of a remote real-time video surveillance system for reservoirs enables dynamic monitoring of potential or ongoing flood events, hazards, and disasters, providing immediate situational awareness of on-site conditions. This facilitates timely preventive and remedial measures to ensure the safe operation of reservoirs, shifting flood management from a reactive response to a proactive approach. Such systems are crucial for mitigating flood disasters, reducing urban flood control pressure, and safeguarding people's lives and property.

The Water and Rainfall Video Surveillance System is designed to collect and process hydrological, rainfall, and video data from various reservoirs and rivers. It enables full resource and information sharing, facilitates safety analysis and assessment of hydraulic structures, and provides flood forecasts. Based on the current safety status of water projects, flood forecasting results, and dynamic water volume changes, the system proposes optimal dispatch strategies, thereby offering robust support for the precise management of rivers, dams, and reservoirs.

The IoT Video Monitoring and Early Warning System consists of the following eight subsystems: Homepage, Real-time Monitoring, Image Monitoring, Report Management, Warning Information, Device Management, System Announcements, and System Management. The video monitoring system based on video acquisition terminals is an independently developed and proprietary integrated solution. It incorporates advanced 3G/4G/5G/Wi-Fi communication technologies, supports 4-channel IPC access, enables real-time local video recording/remote viewing, GPS positioning, and camera input/output. The system also features motion detection, alarm recording with protection mechanisms, alarm event reporting to the platform, and supports local/remote video playback and export functions for recorded footage.
Key Functions
1) Real-time monitoring of parameters such as rainfall and water level enables immediate grasp of precipitation dynamics.
2) The system supports real-time transmission for remote photography or live video surveillance.
3) Automatic alarms are triggered when parameters like rainfall or water level exceed threshold values.
4) Comprehensive analysis of meteorological, geological, environmental, and other integrated factors is conducted.
